Simply put, our club could not exist year after year without drawing upon the support and talents of our wonderfully diverse membership. There are no paid positions or hired personnel at Calgary BMX Racing. Every aspect of the track upkeep and the successful execution of our racing events are 100% organized, managed and done through volunteer efforts.

Volunteer Requirements

I agree to the Calgary BMX Club Volunteer program and will fulfill my requirements. The payment of $500 is only charged as of September 30, 2024 if these have not been met. This must be completed by June 15, 2024, I have one week to hand in my post dated payment of a cheque or request to store a CC on our Square site. If I do not submit payment by June 15, 2024 or by one week after my registration is complete, my membership will be suspended until it has been received.

One payment is required per family. Any family member may work the hours needed. I understand that this is my responsibility to sign up for volunteer hours. I understand that the mandatory requirement to fulfill my volunteer commitment consists of 20 hours to include

• 1 work bee
•  1 event (Friday Night Lights Race or AB BMX Day)
• AB Provincial Championship/Grands Race to be held at Calgary BMX. For the AB Grands race I agree to work a minimum of 1 shift per day for 2 of the 3 days. This event is being held September 6 - 8 2024.
