BMX Day 2024
May 26, 2024 @ TBD 5608 Burbank Cres SE, Calgary, AB, T2H 1Z6 For anyone who has ever wanted to try BMX racing, Calgary BMX will have an open track with complimentary coaching for BMX Day in Alberta. We will have our bike shed open with free loaner bikes and helmets. You can:

How to participate:
Upon arrival, please go to our sign-up table. There you will be given a start time and asked to sign a waiver. Proceed to the bike shed if you are borrowing a bike and safety gear. Join your group by the bleachers when it’s time to ride. Listen to a safety talk, warm up and then head out onto the track with your coach and some experienced racers. Each session lasts about 40 minutes. After your session, immediately return equipment to the shed for the next rider.

Come help make it a great day for your friends and all the new riders. Members of all ages can gear up and bike with the new riders through the coaches stations. Join the safety and flagging folks on the track. Support us in the pit, bike shed, concession, BBQ and reception.

Requirements:
- This free one-day event is open to anyone age 4* and up who can ride a pedal bike.
*Age is determined as of December 31st, 2024. This means if your child turns 4 within this year, they can ride. - Riders must wear long sleeved shirts and long pants to participate. We also recommend decent shoes and some basic gloves.
